On Monday the 21st of November, the Macquarie University community gathered in the Michael Egan Hall to celebrate the inaugural Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Awards – where the winners of the Vice-Chancellor’s Learning and Teaching Awards were announced.

In introducing the highly commended finalists and winners, Professor Rorden Wilkinson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), took the opportunity to recognise, celebrate and thank the educators across Macquarie University for their outstanding efforts to positively impact student learning.

We value our learning and teaching community and their commitment to enhancing the educational experience of our students, and we commend the role that they play in helping our student become connected, civic-minded citizens and graduates. These awards are the culmination of years of hard work, collaboration, and commitment to teaching excellence by our colleagues.
